Well hello there!

Thank you for visiting this page where nature is the inspiration for this all.

My name is Eglė, and who I am now and what I do started with my name. Eglė means spruce, fir tree. Also in Lithuanian mythology; Eglė is the Queen of Serpents. There is a tragic tale about it, but let's focus on the positive. Shall we?

So I do what I do for many years now (what do you do, selling the products?). - I make my own products and share them with the world to spread positive vibes! - A few weeks ago, I met a military man in the woods. He asked me why I do not have an ‘About’ section om my website. It was a clear sign that I had to speak more openly about myself and open this page. On the other hand I am a hardcore Aquarius. :D So it takes time to open up.

All my life I was drawn to nature. This is how my gratitude and respect for nature translated into my work. I pick plants myself in the forest and use them as stamps or stencils when I dye clothes. Each item is unique, made with love, wonder and joy. It is always something mysterious until the last step.

I am very passionated about sustainable fashion. Even tho my leggings are new items, I dye, cut and braid them myself. I tried a few other designs for dresses and top clothing, but it somehow did not want to work with me... There is so much of clothing made and not used! So what I do is; I get second hand jumpers, dresses, t-shirts. I make sure it is from perfect quality and I make them in my style, with the help of nature. This is how I keep balance between old and new. 

Also, packages you will receive will be plastic free. Well, to be honest, I hope soon we won’t need to say that and it will be new norm. I always add a wish jar and a feather with all the best possible vibes to every order. Feathers are also gathered in nature or by a friend who has birds at home. Living creature will not be harmed in any stage of the production of our products.

Why House of Asterya?
Asterya was the ancient Greek goddess of shooting stars and of the nighttime divinations. I am very much the child of the night so it felt right to call upon this goddess so she will be by my side.

My intentions
To inspire and to connect with nature, to respect her, and to be kind to her. 

And I could not thank Vita and Edita enough! My friends who are always ready to model. So much fun to shoot with you !!!! Always!!!!!
